I have found that in all furniture forms a simple mastery of woodworking can yield some of the best performing designs.  My extension tables are no exception. The fully matched top opens on a wooden track with a steel equalizer. A modified traditional wooden design but built with very stable and aged quarter sawn white oak.  This careful material selection allows me to make a precise mechanism that will remain fluid in movement for generations.

Underneath the top, the feet join the pedestal with tapered sliding dovetail joints very precisely fitted.  These joints are reinforced with custom made steel supports to resist any amount of stress applied to the table’s top. Masterful simplicity. No shortcuts.
This is the largest extension pedestal table we are offering at this time. If you would like a larger round extension table we will need to build a custom design and that will likely be a 4- legged table.
